L'homme Arme: A 15th Century Song Hit
Perhaps the most popular song of its day, "L'homme Arme" found its way into the church by
serving as a musical template for many composers' mass settings. Our season concludes with a program
exploring the development of this practice. The program will include both sacred and secular works by
Morton, Dufay, Ockeghem, and Josquin.
